Within each belt test, our HapKiDo students experience an overwhelming flow of thankfulness by the time they achieve a new colored belt. They had just seen all of their hard work paying off, they greet their instructors and family/friends afterwards, and there’s this celebratory expression of joy that is seen on all faces.
