Have you tried martial arts classes for you and your family yet?  If you have never tried class or looked into taking martial arts Dacula for you or your kids before there is no better time to start than now!  Taking classes will help you or your child learn focus and respect, both of which will help you better succeed in life.  Martial ArtsDacula are good for people of all ages, but it is especially important that children become involved in this activity as soon as possible because the habits that kids learn from Martial Arts Dacula will help them in every area of their life.  When kids develop the skills they learn in Karate Class into habits, it will become a part of their character and overflow into every area of their lives; from school, to the home, in relationships and friendships.

Martial arts Dacula Teaches Respect:  Martial Arts Begins and ends with respect.  The first thing that students learn when they come in for their introductory martial arts class is the importance of respect.  We are striving to change the world by teaching respect to the students at Choe’s Martial Arts Dacula.  We feel strongly that respect is the tool that people can use to improve their lives, and the lives of everyone they meet.

Martial Arts Dacula Teaches Focus:  Can you imagine what it would be like if your child had the focus to complete tasks such as homework, cleaning their rooms, picking up their toys, all without needing you to remind them constantly to stay on task?  Choe’s Martial Arts Dacula can give your child the focus to stay on task, complete school work and chores with self discipline.  Most people can benefit from having more focus in their lives, and Martial Arts Dacula can make focusing a habit in children so that they have focus as a tool their entire life.

Martial Arts Dacula Teaches Self Defense: The confidence that comes with knowing that you can defend yourself against a bully is a priceless gift to any child.  With the bullying epidemic that has swarmed the nation, martial arts Dacula can give your child the confidence to stick to for themselves against a bully.  This will not only prevent them from being the target of bullies, but Martial Arts Dacula will make your child physically and mentally strong, all while giving them the skills to defend themselves from an attacker.  We always stress to our students at Choe’s Martial Arts Dacula that physical self defense should be the last resort, but knowing that if push came to shove they could handle themselves give children the confidence needed to be able to avoid most of these negative circumstances.

Martial Arts Dacula teaches the importance of Health and Fitness:  Another epidemic that is plaguing our youth is obesity.  Martial Arts Dacula teaches the importance of staying healthy and physically fit.  If your child develops positive habits at an early age by taking martial arts Dacula, these habits will carry over into their adult lives and will lead to a longer, healthier more productive life.  Martial Arts Dacula teaches the importance of exercise, the benefits of a healthy diet, and it gives kids the mental strength to avoid peer pressure and things like drugs and smoking.  Let Choe’s Martial Art Dacula help you teach your child proper habits when it comes to health and fitness.

Come visit Choe’s HapKiDo Karate Dacula today to see how we can help you, your child and your family reach your goals!  All the instructors are committed to helping our students become the best people that they can be, so that they can reach the highest level of success possible!  We have a top notch facility with state of the art training equipment.  Our mission is to improve our country and society, one black belt at a time.  We have classes for kids, adults and families…What are you waiting for?

Martial Arts Cumming GA - Choe's HapKiDo Karate 30041 Junior Instructor Speech

Below is a speech given by one of our awesome Junior Instructors and Martial Arts Black Belt.  Tyhelps teach Martial Arts Classes in Cumming GA, and is a young leader at the Kids Martial Arts School. This young man prepared then gave this speech about giving 100% effort all the time to his peers at a Choe's HapKiDo Karate Belt Test held at our Suwanee Karate School. Part of being a Junior Instructor is learning to be more confident and being able to speak in front of an audience, and Ty demonstrated excellent confidence and effort in his awesome martial arts speech.

"Hello my name is Ty Overholt.

I am a 1st degree Black Belt.

Imagine feeling trapped in an unsatisfying existence.  Wasting time doing things you really don't want to do.  Being afraid to express your uniqueness.  Maybe your life was just like mine was.

I started Hapkido 3 1/2yrs ago.  I have learned respect, perseverance, and how to be unique.  Instructor LoPresti has taught me how to change my life by teaching me that it is important to try my best in everything I do.  These are the traits of a black belt and once I learned them they changed my life.

I am a better brother, student and person as a result of learning this one very important trait.

Try your best every single time -

It is important.  It shows respect for my senior Instructor - Instructor LoPresti. Trying my best helps my Dojang be a better Dojang.  I try my best because trying my best pays respect to Grandmaster Choe.

I want my Dojang to be the best and I want to be a role model to the lower belts who are watching everything I do.  Trying my best has changed my life because it has made me a better student both in the Dojang and at regular school.  Here it has made its way into everything I do. Because I have learned this --  I have been successful faster in other areas of my life.  My kicks are faster, my moves better.  I have also become better conditioned and I am able to run farther and faster then I could when I first started Hapkido.

Trying my best I have started to discover who I truly am as a person.  This is the path to a extraordinary life.  I love doing Hapkido and doing Hapkido makes me feel alive.  When I am doing 20 pushups and I am only on number 15 and think I can't do anymore.  Do I quit?  No I keep going and guess what?  I do the 20.  The feeling I get when I complete the 20 is awesome.

I achieve goals I have set thru hard work and perseverance. I have learned that as long as I try 100% in everything I do I can achieve anything in my life that I want to do.

My Life truly has no limits.

For teaching me that I thank my Instructor - Instructor LoPresti

Martial Arts Junior Instructor gives a speech about Home Alone Safety

Below is a speech given by one of our awesome Junior Instructors. Mr James is a Junior Instructor, a young leader at the Kids Martial Arts School in Cumming GA. This young man prepared then gave this speech about how to stay safe when home alone to his peers at a Choe's HapKiDo Karate Belt Test held at our Suwanee Karate School. Part of being a Junior Instructor is learning to be more confident and being able to speak in front of an audience, and James demonstrated excellent confidence and maturity :)

Home Alone Safety

by:

James

"Today I am going to talk to you about how to be safe when you're home alone.  I am going to tell you 3 ways to be safe.  Those ways are keeping your door locked and don't answer it, do not answer the phone, and have an emergency phone number to call if something goes wrong.  These ways are very important to being safe at home alone.

The first way I mentioned was to keep your door locked and do not answer it.  this is a big part of keeping yourself safe because some crazy guy could see that an adult didn't answer the door but you did and he could be big trouble.  Another reason is that if this guy sees you and you walk away; he would know that you're scared and if you didn't have your doors locked he could just walk right in and he would know you were alone because most time times you'll answer it and not lock it back.

My second way to keep yourself safe is to not answer the phone.  If you do pick up the phone and it is someone you don't know and they ask if your parents are home, if you say no then they know they can come to your house.  The way to stay safe is just to say your parents are unable to come to the phone right now.  But the best way to avoid this is to not answer the phone in the first place.

My last way to keep safe is to have an emergency phone in case an emergency happens.  If an emergency arises you will need some one to contact.  Like if there is a fire, of course I hope that never happens, but if it does could you imagine running through a flaming house looking for a phone, it might end badly.  So, just remember to keep a phone and a phone number with you so you can get some help.

These ways to keep you safe will help a lot if you're home alone.  The tips can help protect you from getting harmed.  Just to remind you if you forgot, they are keeping your door locked and don't answser it, do not answer the phone, and have an emergancey phone number to call if something goes wrong.  I hope these tips will help keep you safe when you're home alone."

Awesome job James!!!

HYGIENE
By
Liam
"Hygiene is important so you won’t get sick.  Three areas I want to cover are teeth, body, and hands.
Brushing your teeth at least two times a day will clean your teeth.  Make sure you do a circular motion at the gum line, and you won’t have cavities or bad breath.
If you sweat daily, taking a quick shower will help especially after a Hapkido workout.  Make sure you use soap and shampoo.
Washing your hands after using the toilet will prevent sickness and people calling you gross.
If you follow these three things, you won’t get sick and you’ll smell good, and people will want to be your friend!"

Cyber Bullying Speech by Junior Instructor at Choe's HapKiDo Karate inCumming GA

Here is a speech given by one of our Junior Instructors. Edmond is a Junior Instructor, a leader at the Kids Martial Arts School in Cumming GA. He gave this speech about Cyber Bullying to his peers at a Choe's HapKiDo Karate Belt Test. Part of being a Junior Instructor is learning to be more confident and being able to speak in front of an audience, and this young man did an awesome job doing just that!!

Cyber Bullying in Suwanee GA

"Cyber Bullying is kids making fun of other kids or making up rumors about other kids on electronic devices like cell phones, computers and tablets.

You may not know that you're cyber bullying someone but you might be.  When you're face to face you can tell when you've hurt someone's feelings because they might be crying or get mad.  But you don't know you're doing those things when you're cyber bulling.  We all know not to be a bully but you may not know that a text message or an email could do the same thing.

We all know that if someone bullies you should go tell a teacher or your mom and dad.  But cyber bulling can be more confusing because you dont know if someone is joking or not.  It's easier to tell when someone is hitting you or yelling at you that you're being bullied, but it's harder when you get a text message or email that is mean.  If you are not sure then you should talk to your teacher or mom and dad.

For example, raise your hand if you think this is bulling --- I run up to you and do a Jump Spinning Heel and take all your money?  Of course that is bullying

Another example except raise your hand if you think this is cyber bullying.  I send you a text message that says "Hey, your stink!"

I could be trying to be mean or trying to be funny.  To make sure it is clear you can type that you are joking.

To make sure you're not a cyber bully you should read your text messages and emails carefuly before you send them. You've got to make sure that nobody could misunderstand you.  If you're trying to be funny make sure to tell that person that you're joking.  If you hurt someone's feelings by accident make sure you appologize.

Cyber Bullying happens a lot.  I hope this information helps you not to be cyber bullied or become a cyber bully."
